Design Inc. started in 1994 as a limited selection of art and sculptures available through a print catalog. In 2004, that booklet turned into our first boutique store featuring unique items from travels around the world. Today, the showroom has grown to a distinctive selection of furniture and lighting, with a focus on art and home accessories.
After finding success with Design Inc., the 3200 sq ft Design Inc. - Signature Collection
opened in 2017 to showcase a wider selection of custom furniture, floor coverings, interior foliage, art and lighting designs. Design Inc. - Signature Collection also houses a full-service interior design group, working with clients to help create a cohesive design.
Bill Bruss
Owner, Lead Designer
Born and raised in Chicago, Bill graduated with a degree in Advertising & Packaging from Columbia College. After working 10 years for a major retail chain he decided to expand his design career into interior design. Now with more than 30 years experience, he has worked across the country on both commercial and residential projects.
Melissa Kuppers
Financial Operations, Sales 1317 shop
Brought on board in 2020 to run the 1317 w Grand shop. Besides sales Melissa is also task with the day to day operations, tracking orders and company logistics.
